VEGA BUNGEE FUSION™

VEGA BUNGEE FUSION™ is our unique gravity defying fitness class exclusively offered at VEGA AERIAL FITNESS + WELLNESS POP UP STUDIOS. In this class you are secured to specially designed bungee cords and personal hip harnesses anchored to the back of your hip which is suspended from the ceiling above you. The sheer weightlessness of the VEGA BUNGEE FUSION equipment setup offers low impact/reduce stress on the joints while offering a high impact total body endurance workout, allowing you to challenge your muscles in a completely different way. You will learn how to take flight by engaging in a series of jumping, squatting, planking, dance style movements all pulled together into a choreographed high-energy fun intense total body workout. Be prepared to push your stamina + endurance + overall body strength in 40 minutes. If you want a fun way to sweat + tone this is the class to do it in. Anyone who is looking for a uniquely different, fun approach to fitness can try our VEGA BUNGEE FUSION classes. We do recommend that participants have a base level of fitness able to do squats, jumping jacks and planks, which are all helpful to execute the exercises in this class. Due to the type of apparatus used the weight limit for this class is currently 180 lbs. Age limit for Bungee Fusion for kids is 12 years old and up.
WEAR + BRING: A Bungee harness is used to support your body weight & to anchor you onto the bungee cord. The harness wraps around your hips and thighs & will put pressure in those areas as the harness supports your body weight. To help alleviate the pressure, we suggest that you wear thicker clothing around your waist & hips.
We suggest bringing a water bottle/H20 + sweat towel + a playful attitude + an open mind!
Do not eat 60 minutes prior to class.
Girls – Wear thicker, capri-length yoga pants and/or wear a pair of workout shorts or cut-off sweat pants over your yoga pants.
Boys – Wear thick shorts, athletic shorts, or cut-off sweat pants.
All participants – Wear a tank or lightweight t-shirt as you will be working out.
Footwear – The workout can be performed barefoot, beginners wear sneakers until you are more comfortable with the movements.
Arrive 15 minutes prior to class beginning for wavier completion if needed and to get you set up in your harness.
